Tenis de Mesa: Waldszan fue ternado a los Premios Jorge Newbery

Matías Waldszan, integrante de la Selección de tenis de mesa que compitió el año pasado en las Macabeadas de Israel, fue ternado para los Premios Jorge Newbery.



Los Premios Jorge Newbery son entregados anualmente por el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires a los deportistas más destacados. Se entregan premios en 54 disciplinas y, entre los ganadores de cada una de ellas, es elegido el Jorge Newbery de Oro.


Han sido galardonados con este premio Luciana Aymar, Rodrigo Palacio, Gisela Dulko, Fernando Gago y Omar Narvaez, entre otros deportistas destacados.


Sobre las emociones que le produce estar nominado a este prestigioso premio, Waldszan le dijo a MINUTO XT: «Tengo muchas ganas de ganar, pero estar ahí ya es un gran orgullo».


Acompañan a Waldszan en la terna de tenis de mesa Martín Bentancor y Lucas Bayona. La entrega de premios será el día Jueves 15 de Mayo a partir de las 18:30 hs en la Usina del Arte.
