Alberto Indij, nuevo presidente de la DAIA: «Le pedimos la renuncia a Ariel Cohen Sabban y fue efectivizada»

El nuevo presidente de la DAIA, Dr. Alberto Indij, dialogó en exclusiva con La Cadena Judía de Información Vis a Vis y confirmó que reemplazará en el cargo a Ariel Cohen Sabban, a quien le pidieron la renuncia luego de que se difundieran hechos confusos entre el ex titular de la entidad judía y Esmeralda Mitre en el domicilio de la actriz.

En las últimas horas comenzó a circular la versión sobre una posible denuncia de Esmeralda Mitre contra el ex titular de la DAIA por algun hecho ocurrido en el domicilio de la actriz.  Al ser sábado ( día de descanso para la religión judía) Cohen Sabban no se expresó.

Quien hasta hoy era el Vicepresidente primero de la entidad confirmó que: «en el día de ayer y ante la situación muy compleja que se desencadenó sobre todo lo que comenzó a circular en las redes sociales, que es muy serio, le pedimos la renuncia a Ariel, que ya fue efectivizada». «Es el mecanismo que disponemos hasta que la situación se aclare» » No podemos decir de ninguna manera que todo el episodio sea  cierto, pero la situación es insostenible» En las próximas horas cuando finalice el Shabat ( sàbado) haremos un comunicado oficial»

Asumo como presidente y el resto de la comisión directiva sigue igual con Alberto Hammerschlag y Luis Grynwald como vicepresidentes.

La situación comenzó cuando Mitre habló en una entrevista con Infobae sobre los desaparecidos en la dictadura y lo comparó con la Shoa: «Es como pasó con el Holocausto, dijeron que eran 6 millones pero no eran tantos». Ante esa situación la DAIA comunicó: «Vamos a levantar nuestra voz contra cualquiera que busque minimizar lo que significó el Holocausto». Y la convocó a mantener una reunión con las autoridades.

Entre los que rechazaron sus declaraciones estuvo Cohen Sabban. «Es nuestro deber volver a reiterar que no puede ni debe existir duda alguna sobre el número de judíos asesinados durante el nazismo. Las tragedias no se miden por la cantidad de muertos y discutir eso es darle voz a quienes quieren imponer el negacionismo»,
