Veinte niños y niñas de entre 14 y 16 años de los diferentes grupos sociales de Israel acudieron este fin de semana a la capital andaluza para disfrutar de tres días de fútbol junto con el Sevilla FC y LaLiga. Se trata de la quinta edición de ‘Escudo de Honor’, un proyecto que forma parte de la iniciativa ‘Esperanza Israelí’ y tiene como meta el desarrollo de los clubes como una comunidad que pueda promover la igualdad y reducir las diferencias sociales, la violencia y el racismo en la juventud israelí.
A lo largo del fin de semana, el grupo de jóvenes participó en numerosas actividades junto al Sevilla, charlaron y jugaron con tres jugadores de la plantilla del equipo de Nervión, el argentino Lucas Ocampos, el mexicano Javier Hernández ‘Chicharito’ y el ídolo de los niños, el futbolista árabe-israelí Munas Dabbur. Presenciaron el entrenamiento del primer equipo y de la cantera sevillistas, recibieron una sesión de entrenamiento del equipo técnico y, además, asistieron al partido que enfrentaba al Sevilla frente al Leganés.
«Es la primera vez en nuestras cinco ediciones que colaboramos en España con LaLiga. Estamos muy agradecidos tanto al Sevilla como a la LaLiga por proporcionarle a los niños esta experiencia. Barajamos trabajar con otros clubs españoles, pero finalmente nos decantamos por el Sevilla porque consideramos que el club comparte nuestros mismos valores, son como una familia. Además, el hecho de que el Sevilla cuente en su plantilla con Munas Dabbur ha sido un factor determinante, desde su llegada al club, en Israel todos somos aficionados del Sevilla», explicó Eran Eyta, director de ‘Esperanza Israelí-Escudo de Honor’.
«En estos momentos seguimos colaborando con LaLiga para volver a unir nuestros caminos en futuras ediciones. Empezamos nuestra colaboración con LaLiga el año pasado con algunos talleres para los entrenadores del Atletico de Madrid en Israel y estamos deseando colaborar en el futuro con LaLiga y los clubes de la Premier League israelí, para que en esta ocasión nuestros entrenadores acudan a España» afirmó el director de ‘Esperanza Israelí-Escudo de Honor’.
Los jóvenes integrantes de ‘Escudo de Honor’ son 20 niños y niñas que han demostrado una enorme actitud de liderazgo, solidaridad y respeto dentro de sus clubes. El Beitar Maale Adumin FC, Hapoel Kfar-Saba FC, Emek Hefer girls FC, el Beitar Kfar-Saba FC y el Kfar Kama FC, son los cinco clubs israelíes premiados en esta 5º edición de ‘Escudo de Honor’ por luchar a favor de la igualdad, el respeto, la tolerancia y la unidad de los diferentes grupos sociales en Israel y por combatir el racismo y la violencia entre los más jóvenes. Dentro del grupo de los 20 niños y niñas «están representados todos los grupos de la sociedad israelí, árabes, judíos laicos y ortodoxos» remarcó el director de ‘Esperanza Israelí-Escudo de Honor’.
El proyecto ‘Escudo de Honor’ forma parte de la iniciativa ‘Esperanza Israelí’, desarrollado conjuntamente por el presidente de Israel, Reuven Rivlin, el Ministerio de Deporte y Cultura de Israel, la Asociación de Ligas Profesionales de Fútbol de Israel y la TOTO Winner and Value Sports.
