Este número sin precedentes de delegaciones extranjeras de alto nivel estará en Jerusalén para conmemorar los 75 años desde la liberación de Auschwitz, como parte del Quinto Foro Mundial del Holocausto, en un evento titulado «Recordando el Holocausto: lucha contra el antisemitismo», organizado por el presidente Reuven Rivlin y Yad Vashem.
Es «el mayor evento desde el establecimiento del estado», dijo el jueves el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Israel Katz.
Yad Vashem invitó a todos los países que estaban bajo la ocupación nazi, a todos los países que eran una potencia aliada, más Alemania.
