Uno es el hospital pediátrico más importante del país, en tanto que el Instituto Hadassah es uno de los más prestigiosos de Israel. Comenzaron a trabajar juntos para intercambiar conocimientos en medicina y gestión. Del encuentro por Zoom participó el embajador argentino en Israel, Sergio Urribarri.
El Instituto Hadassah es el principal hospital de Israel y uno de los más prestigiosos del mundo. Desde hace más de 100 años brinda atención médica, forma profesionales y fomenta el desarrollo de la medicina a nivel global.
Oscar Trotta, miembro del Consejo de Administración del Garrahan, señaló cuando llegó su turno para hablar: “Estos intercambios se dan generalmente por iniciativa de las instituciones y es muy importante que en este caso sea el Estado nacional el que lo impulse, a través de la Embajada argentina. Marca un rumbo en las relaciones internacionales y en la gestión de los funcionarios en el exterior”.

Desde el Ministerio de Salud argentino participó el viceministro Arnaldo Medina. El funcionario transmitió el apoyo de la cartera y de su titular, Ginés González García.
Un vínculo que abre puertas
“Conocemos el prestigio de Hadassah y estamos con una gran expectativa porque hay una agenda muy importante hacia adelante”, expuso.
Jorge Diener, director de Relaciones Internacionales de Hadassah, consideró que el vínculo que se inaugura “habla muy bien de las perspectivas de una relación que ya es muy buena” entre Israel y Argentina. “Cuando empezamos a dialogar con el embajador, nos propuso trabajar con el Garrahan y consideramos que se trata de una gran oportunidad”, agregó.
Objetivos más allá de lo Institucional
“Los objetivos que definimos serán en beneficio de estas dos instituciones tan importantes y ya estamos pensando cómo se puede compartir el conocimiento que se genere con centros de atención pediátrica de los dos países. Más allá de lo institucional, coincidimos en que lo que nos une es mejorar la atención y la salud de los chicos”, expresó el embajador.
En la reunión se acordó avanzar con la realización de simposios entre profesionales de ambas instituciones para definir las áreas de interés y luego programar acciones concretas.
