Un israelí de 25 años estaba de excursión cuando fue atacado por cinco árabes que le arrojaron piedras y lo golpearon. Sucedió cerca de la comunidad de Har Bracha, en Samaria.

Las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) lo rescataron y luego recibió la atención de un equipo del Magen David Adom (MDA), que lo evacuó a un hospital para recibir tratamiento adicional o lesiones en la cara.

A su vez, las FDI rodearon la cercana aldea árabe de Arak Burin y están buscando a los atacantes.

El hecho llega poco más de un mes después de que Muhammad Maruh Kabha asesinara brutalmente a Esther Horgan. Dijo a los interrogadores del Shin Bet que «decidió llevar a cabo un ataque terrorista después de que fue influenciado por la muerte de un prisionero que conocía, Kamal Abu Wa’er».

Durante su enfermedad, la AP y Fatah lanzaron una campaña de incitación afirmando falsamente que Israel le negó el tratamiento adecuado. Una vez que Abu Wa’er murió, intensificaron la difamación de que su muerte fue causada por «negligencia médica deliberada».

Al parecer, creyendo que esto era cierto, Kabha decidió matar a un israelí en venganza. Cuando identificó a una mujer judía que caminaba sola, tomó una piedra y la asesinó a golpes.

De alguna manera, mismo modus operandi con el excursionista: árabes que le arrojaron piedras y lo golpearon. Afortunadamente, en este caso lo rescataron las FDI.
