General iraní: «Nivelaremos Haifa y Tel Aviv si Israel comete el más mínimo error»

El portavoz del ejército iraní, general Abolfazl Shekarchi, advirtió que el «más mínimo error» de Israel los llevaría a «nivelar Haifa y Tel Aviv.»

Shekarchi respondió a los comentarios del jefe de Estado Mayor de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel, el teniente general Aviv Kochavi.

El martes, Kochavi había aseverado que las FDI estaban preparando contingencias ofensivas contra Irán. Además, advirtió al gobierno de Joe Biden de que no se reincorporara al acuerdo nuclear de 2015 con Irán. «Regresar al acuerdo «es malo desde el punto de vista operativo y estratégico». Y dijo que permitir que Irán continúe con su programa nuclear sería «una amenaza inaceptable y conducirá a la proliferación nuclear en toda la región».

Por su parte, el general iraní dijo: “Si notamos el más mínimo error por parte del régimen sionista hacia el régimen de la República Islámica, atacaremos ambas bases de misiles, que, según ellos, están destinadas a atacar a Irán. En el menor tiempo nivelaremos Haifa y Tel Aviv”.

Según Shekarchi, Israel «aún no estaba al tanto» de todas las capacidades militares de Irán.

A su vez, Mahmoud Vaezi, jefe de gabinete del presidente iraní Hassan Rouhani, también respondió a los comentarios de Kochavi. “Nuestra gente y la gente de la región está familiarizada con el lenguaje utilizado hasta ahora por los funcionarios del régimen sionista, que hablan más y buscan llevar a cabo una guerra psicológica», expresó.

Vaezi también argumentó que Israel no tiene «ni un plan ni la capacidad» para atacar a Irán.

El primer ministro israelí, Benjamin Netanyahu, se hizo eco de las advertencias de Kochavi a Teherán. “Me gustaría enfatizar que la política que estoy siguiendo es clara: no permitiremos que Irán se arme con armas nucleares. Les digo esto a enemigos y amigos por igual. Es nuestra principal misión, preservar la vida de nuestro país”, manifestó Netanyahu.

No es la primera vez que Irán realiza una amenaza de esta índole.

A principios de este mes, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, comandante de la Fuerza Aeroespacial de la Guardia Revolucionaria Islámica de Irán (IRGC), aseveró: «Tenemos orden de arrasar Haifa y Tel Aviv si se comete alguna tontería contra Irán».

Además, el secretario del Consejo de Idoneidad y ex comandante en jefe de la IRGC, Mohsen Rezai, aseguró en febrero de 2020: “Estamos buscando un pretexto para arrasar Tel Aviv”.

Y, en diciembre de 2019, uno de los principales asesores del comandante en jefe de la IRGC, Morteza Ghorbani, comentó: «Si Israel se equivoca convertiremos a Tel Aviv en polvo desde el Líbano».
