Frases antisemitas en un monumento en Miami a bomberos caídos en los atentados a las Torres Gemelas

Un monumento erigido en una estación de de bomberos del suroeste de Miami-Dade fue vandalizada con frases antisemitas. El mismo es en honor a los héroes de primeros auxilios fallecidos el 11 de setiembre de 2001 cuando se produjeron los atentados a las Torres Gemelas. Este viernes por la mañana encontraron que alguien había escrito frases antisemitas frente al monumento.

Pintadas con aerosol a pocos centímetros de un monumento a los caídos ese día decía: «Los judíos hicieron esto».

La estatua en sí está hecha de una viga de acero de las torres gemelas.

Los bomberos de la estación 3 pudieron borrar las palabras, pero el mensaje trajo dolor hasta la cima del condado.

«Estoy horrorizado y enfermo del estómago por este incidente que desfigura un monumento del 11 de septiembre en una de nuestras estaciones de bomberos de Miami-Dade». Así se expresó la alcaldesa de Miami-Dade, Daniella Levine Cava. El comunicado dice lo siguiente “El antisemitismo y los delitos de odio de cualquier tipo no tienen cabida en el condado de Miami-Dade.

No habrá más abusos ni intimidaciones a la población. Agradezco a nuestro departamento de policía de Miami-Dade por su trabajo para identificar y acusar a los responsables de este crimen
