La Federación Internacional de Fútbol Americano (IFAF) ha seleccionado a Israel para albergar el Campeonato Mundial de Flag Football en el Kraft Family Sports Campus en Jerusalén, programado para el 6 y 8 de diciembre de 2021.
Asimismo, se espera que el torneo de tres días atraiga a más de 40 equipos de hasta 30 países. Todos compiten por el título mundial y un lugar en los Juegos Mundiales de 2022.
El torneo bianual estaba originalmente programado para celebrarse en Dinamarca en 2020, pero se pospuso debido a la pandemia mundial de COVID-19. El Kraft Family Sports Campus acogió uno de los campeonatos europeos más exitosos de 2019.
