La OSA transmitirá el evento central de Iom Ierushalaim el domingo 9 de mayo por Facebook Live

La Organización Sionista Argentina (OSA), en conjunto con la Organización Sionista Mundial y el apoyo de ORT Argentina, transmitirá este domingo a las 19.30hs. el evento central de Iom Ierushalaim a través de Facebook Live, en conmemoración del 54º aniversario de la reunificación de la milenaria Ciudad Santa durante la Guerra de los Seis Días.

Luego del éxito que tuvo la transmisión online del acto de Iom Haatzmaut, que ya fue vista por más de 50 mil personas, la Federación realizará un gran evento para celebrar los 54 años del renacer de la ciudad eterna de Jerusalén y la centralidad de la misma en la vida judía, que contará con la especial participación del periodista y escritor Marcelo Birmajer.

“Ierushalaim es la capital única del Estado de Israel y merecemos celebrar su día con alegría y con contenidos que reflejen la centralidad que la ciudad tiene para el pueblo judío”, afirmó el presidente de la Organización Sionista Argentina, Sergio Pikholtz.

En el evento central del próximo domingo habrá un cuadro especial en el que se contará la historia de “Ierushalaim shel zahav” (Jerusalem de oro). En 1967, el entonces alcalde de Jerusalem, Teddy Kollek, le realizó un pedido a la prestigiosa poetisa y compositora Naomi Shemer. Esto fue antes de que estallara la Guerra de los Seis Días. Le solicitó que escribiera una canción dedicada a la Ciudad Santa, con motivo de Iom Haatzmaut, Día de la Independencia. Esa fue la génesis de la famosa “Ierushalaim shel zahav” (Jerusalem de oro). La misma expresa el anhelo del pueblo judío de regresar a la Ciudad Santa. A su vez, reedita la promesa que hicieron los profetas en el exilio babilónico.

La celebración contará con la participación de artistas y referentes comunitarios. El concepto del acto virtual estará ligado a la transmisión de contenidos en formato artístico. Será con música y relatos recorriendo el pasado, el presente y el futuro de Ierushalaim a través de los ojos de Theodor Herzl. Tal como lo registró en su libro Altneuland y en sus diarios de viaje.

El evento se realizará bajo la producción y dirección artística de Florencia Yadid y Maximiliano Bartfeld.
