En Petah Tikva, una ciudad al este de Tel Aviv, se vio a un papá israelí tratando de cubrir en plena calle a su bebé de 3 meses mientras sonaba la alarma por los misiles desde Gaza.

El hombre está en la calle en cuclillas, cerca de una parada de colectivo, detrás de lo que pareciera ser un cubo de cemento, esperando que finalice la sirena para encontrar un lugar más seguro.

La imagen fue difundida por el presidente del Vaad HaKehilot, Eliahu Hamra, quien comentó: «Una imagen muy fuerte. Un papá israelí protege a su bebé de 3 meses mientras suena la alarma por los misiles desde Gaza».

Petah Tikva es uno de los lugares afectados por el lanzamiento de cohetes de Hamás, aunque no hubo víctimas mortales en la ciudad. Las tres personas que fallecieron hasta el martes por la noche son de Sderot (2) y Rishon Lezion (1).

En otro episodio que vincula a bebés, los recién nacidos debieron salir de sus cunas mientras caían cohetes sobre un hospital de Israel.

Las Fuerzas de Defensa (FDI) compartieron imágenes junto con un texto: «Durante un bombardeo de cohetes desde Gaza hacia el centro de Israel, bebés israelíes recién nacidos fueron sacados de sus cunas. Hubo que llevarlos a un pasillo fortificado. Estas son las víctimas del terrorismo».

“Había puesto a mi bebé a dormir cuando comenzaron las sirenas. Lloré porque temí por su vida. No tenemos refugio anti bombas ni en nuestro apartamento ni en el edificio. Estaba tan asustada que la agarré y salí corriendo sin nada a la calle”, dijo Corrin, una madre que pasó la noche con su hija en brazos mientras Hamás lanzaba cohetes continuamente hacia Tel Aviv.
