Cuando todavía en la Argentina se siguen viviendo tiempos de incertidumbre y la vuelta a la normalidad parece lejana, la dirigencia judía comienza a acomodar sus fichas pensando en las próximas elecciones que podrían ratificar a cada oficialismo o generar la renovación en las actuales conducciones de las instituciones centrales de la comunidad.

De las tres instituciones centrales, la AMIA es la que tiene casi definido que los comicios pasarán al 2022, ya que así lo indica el estatuto. El INAES no autorizó a adelantar las elecciones, por lo que serían el primer domingo de abril del próximo año. Por ahora, no hay nada que indique lo contrario.

En la última asamblea en la que se habló de elecciones en la OSA se supo que había dos listas que buscarían asumir en la federación, tras el anuncio de Sergio Pikholtz, quien aseguró que no seguiría presidiendo la entidad en la próxima gestión.

Sin embargo, por lo dispuesto en la resolución 39/2020 de la Inspección General de Justicia, no se pudieron realizar elecciones ni cambios de conducción. No obstante, los candidatos a la presidencia de la OSA junto al actual presidente de la institución aseguraron en aquella oportunidad que, en cuanto fuera legalmente posible, se convocará nuevamente a asamblea presencial y/o eleccionaria. Aún no hay una fecha confirmada.

La DAIA, por su parte, tendría elecciones en el mes de noviembre del 2021. Si hubiera elecciones nacionales, no habría motivos para que no se realicen en la Delegación de Asociaciones Israelitas Argentinas, manifestaron varios dirigentes. De todas maneras, el desarrollo de la pandemia en Argentina será determinante. Aquí la votación es indirecta, es decir, votan las instituciones en una Asamblea electoral.

¿Quiénes son los candidatos a competir en las próximas elecciones y conducir a la representación política del 2021 al 2024?

La actual conducción de la DAIA, encabezada por Jorge Knoblovits, está dispuesta a continuar en un próximo mandato y completar “lo que consideramos una buena gestión y las dos terceras partes de la misma, en pandemia”, según afirman integrantes de la actual conducción. Casi con seguridad lo acompañaría gran parte de la actual CD, aunque no descartan alianzas. De todas formas, el cuarteto integrado por el vicepresidente, tesorero y secretario general podría tener algunos cambios.

Todavía ninguna lista ni agrupación se manifestó públicamente, pero hay dos grupos que están trabajando para participar en las elecciones.

Hay dirigentes que impulsan la candidatura de Claudio Avruj, ex secretario de Derechos Humanos de la Nación y ex director ejecutivo de la DAIA. Ya afirmó que dejó atrás su tarea en la política nacional y hace un tiempo mencionó que quiere volver a ser dirigente en la comunidad judía. Fue candidato a presidente de la entidad en el año 2012.

La otra lista tiene como base a dirigentes que fueron parte en la conducción de la DAIA durante la gestión 2015-2018. Según pudo averiguar Vis á Vis, esa lista está integrada por Alberto «Palito» Hammerschlag y el Dr. Alejandro Broitman. Junto a otros dirigentes buscan impulsar a un ex presidente.

Uno de los nombres que sonaba fuerte era el del Dr. Alberto Indij, pero no aceptó la propuesta. A su vez, fuentes cercanas a la agrupación afirmaron que el candidato sería Julio Schlosser, titular de la entidad desde 2012 hasta 2015 con Knoblovits como secretario general. Consultado por este medio, Schlosser aseguró que si su estado de salud lo permite (recientemente fue operado y está recuperándose), dará una respuesta a una posible propuesta.

Otro de los dirigentes que muchos ven como candidato a presidente de la DAIA es el actual titular de la OSA, Pikholtz. Ante la pregunta de Vis á Vis, expresó que todavía no tiene nada decidido y que está enfocado en la OSA. Igualmente admitió que habló con integrantes de las tres agrupaciones.

El BUR no presentará candidato propio pero seguramente mantendrá conversaciones para acompañar a alguno de los que se presenten.

Es indudable que lo mejor que le puede pasar a la comunidad judía es una dirigencia unida y que no haya elecciones. Por ahora, esa es una posibilidad lejana. La pandemia y el diálogo entre las partes tendrán la palabra final.
