Un estado alemán sufrió, en menos de un mes, más de 100 delitos relacionados al conflicto Israel – Hamás

Luego del conflicto reciente entre Israel y Hamás, el estado alemán Renania del Norte-Westfalia registró 106 delitos. La mayoría fueron actos antisemitas o antiisraelíes, según informó el ministerio del Interior.

Hasta el momento hay 161 sospechosos que están siendo investigados, 58 de los cuales ya se los distinguió por su nombre.

«Ya identificamos a más de uno de cada tres sospechosos. Ese es un trabajo policial preciso y obstinado. Ningún involucrado en estas horribles acciones debe sentirse seguro», afirmó el ministro del Interior, Herbert Reul.

Además, de los 58 sospechosos, 17 son alemanes; 16 sirios; 5 libaneses; 4 germano-libaneses; 5 turcos; 1 germano-turco; y 2 iraquíes. Los restantes provienen cada uno de otros ocho países diferentes.

A su vez, se realizaron 35 averiguaciones preliminares por sedición; 5 por violar banderas y emblemas de estados extranjeros; 12 por utilizar símbolos de organizaciones inconstitucionales; 9 por delitos violentos; y 45 por otros delitos como insultar o resistir a policías. Una proporción significativa de los hechos desde el 10 de mayo se llevaron a cabo durante manifestaciones.

El 12 de mayo, por ejemplo, se quemaron banderas israelíes frente a dos sinagogas en Alemania. El obispo Batzing, presidente de la Conferencia Episcopal Alemana, calificó el incidente como un “acto injustificable de antisemitismo puro”.

Un día antes habían pedido prohibir en Alemania el uso de estrellas amarillas en protestas contra los cierres por Covid.

A través del organismo principal de antisemitismo de Alemania, se instó a la prohibición del uso de estrellas amarillas para manifestarse contra las restricciones por la pandemia. Felix Klein, responsable del comisionado de antisemitismo, pidió que no se permita utilizar el símbolo porque relativiza el Holocausto.
