El ex presidente de la AMIA e integrante del Bloque Unido Religioso (BUR), Guillermo Borger, dialogó con Vis á Vis, tras el robo de más de 300 placas de bronce de tumba situadas en el camino principal y otros sectores de la llamada “parte vieja” del cementerio comunitario de Tablada, ubicado en el partido de La Matanza.

«No es un tema nuevo», manifestó sobre lo ocurrido y agregó que «durante nuestra gestión se logró incorporar un destacamento policial dentro del mismo cementerio que existe al día de hoy, pero sin un instructivo preciso evidentemente no funciona». Además, expresó que «no es un momento de campaña proselitista», en referencia al comunicado de la lista opositora UNA AMIA.

El experimentado dirigente comunitario, que elogió el trabajo de la actual conducción, aspira a volver a ser el titular de la AMIA. «Me gustaría serlo dada la experiencia que adquirí durante mi larga gestión anterior. Tengo pasión por el trabajo comunitario», enfatizó.

Borger apuesta a comisiones directivas con jóvenes y padres de la red escolar judía, innovaciones tecnológicas y acuerdos con hospitales y ONGs.

Lamentablemente no es un tema nuevo. Durante nuestra gestión se logró incorporar un destacamento policial dentro del mismo cementerio que existe al día de hoy, pero sin un instructivo preciso evidentemente no funciona. Además, hay una calle intermedia que divide el cementerio y que está abandonada por donde suceden todo tipo de irregularidades. Desde nuestra gestión que el Gobierno de La Matanza debió eliminarla, por diversos motivos no se concretó.

  • ¿Qué puede hacer la AMIA para evitar que siga ocurriendo?

La AMIA actúa con todo rigor como debe ser. Exige ante las autoridades el pleno cumplimento de todo lo necesario para evitar este tipo de agresiones en lugares tan sensibles y sagrados.

  • En medio de lo ocurrido hubo comunicados de las listas opositoras. Ya se está jugando la elección. ¿Cómo analiza la previa a los comicios?

Quien aprovecha este tipo de malestar opina desde el total desconocimiento y total ignorancia desconociendo el arduo y constante trabajo de AMIA. Además, es el momento más inadecuado, no es un momento de campaña proselitista. Lamentable.

  • ¿Cree que la gente apoyará al BUR?

El BUR es un bloque unido basado en la Torá y el sionismo. Lidera con eficiencia y probada experiencia la AMIA. Desde el año 2008 ayuda a los sectores más vulnerables que se han incrementado en estos dos últimos años con la pandemia, un inesperado desafío que se asumió con altura y fuerte trabajo de la AMIA.

Los socios lo reconocen, lo escuchan de los asistidos, de los alumnos de la Red Escolar, de cada asistente a las actividades culturales y lo manifiestan al momento de las elecciones.

  •  ¿Le gustaría ser el futuro presidente de AMIA?

Sí, me gustaría ser el futuro presidente de la AMIA dada la experiencia que adquirí durante mi larga gestión anterior. Tengo pasión por el trabajo comunitario y desde la AMIA, por su gran reconocimiento y llegada, los logros son alcanzables.

  • ¿Qué le puede aportar a la futura conducción?

Mi plan es conformar Comisión Directiva y varias comisiones de trabajo integradas por jóvenes y padres de alumnos de la Red Escolar Judía. Queremos que manejen las nuevas herramientas informativas de la llamada inteligencia artificial, aunque sin dejar de lado nuestro aporte que da la experiencia de los años acompañados de la inteligencia emocional.

Además queremos establecer distintos acuerdos interinstitucionales como con el Gmaj Center para implementar una escuela de cursos tecnológicos como programación para no programadores, muchos de los cuales están ya en curso con asistencia de cientos de jóvenes a los que literalmente les cambió la vida. También queremos realizar un acuerdo con el Centro Médico Hadassah de Jerusalén.

Trabajaremos para incrementar el presupuesto para educación y fortalecer el excelente trabajo del Departamento de Cultura, que es una verdadera vidriera del accionar de la AMIA para la sociedad toda, un verdadero orgullo.

Consideramos vitales las colonias para nuestros adultos mayores, vivencias que prolongan el bienestar y la alegría de vida. El trabajo con jóvenes es cada vez más solicitado como el club de emprendedores que lanzó AMIA Joven, un programa destinado a promover el fortalecimiento de emprendimientos que genera descubrimientos innovadores y sorprendentes.

Trabajaremos juntos para lograr una comunidad dedicada a la solidaridad y la educación. Un compromiso para nuestras raíces eternas.
