Las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) demolieron las casas de dos terroristas que asesinaron al israelí Yehuda Dimentman.
Muhammad Youssef Jaradat y Ghaith Ahmed Yassin Jaradat, ambos del pueblo de Silat al-Harithiya, están acusados de formar parte de una célula de la Jihad Islámica Palestina que disparó y mató a Dimentman cerca de Homesh en diciembre. Otros dos israelíes resultaron heridos en ese ataque.
Las FDI confirmaron que arrasaron la casa del primero y destruyeron un piso de la vivienda en la que vivía el segundo.
Según el ejército, decenas de palestinos durante las demoliciones lanzaron piedras, bombas incendiarias y artefactos explosivos contra los soldados, que respondieron con medios de dispersión de disturbios y fuego real.
Además, las FDI dijeron que los palestinos armados también dispararon contra las tropas. Los soldados “respondieron con fuego y completaron con éxito su misión”, según un comunicado.

Las FDI demolieron la casa de otro de los terroristas, un tercero, que participó del asesinato a Dimentman. A su vez, se informó a la familia de un cuarto terrorista que su apartamento también se destruirá.
La política de Israel es demoler las casas de los palestinos acusados de cometer atentados mortales.
El Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Israel denegó varios recursos de ambas familias palestinas para que no demolieran sus casas.
Hay numerosos sospechosos por el ataque mortal en Cisjordania en diciembre, en el que murió Dimentman y otros dos israelíes resultaron heridos.
