Miles de personas concurrieron al funeral de Yehuda Dimentman Z»L, asesinado en un ataque terrorista en el puesto avanzado de Homesh, en Cisjordania.
El funeral comenzó en el puesto avanzado de Homesh en Cisjordania, donde Dimentman estudió y cerca de donde lo mataron.
Allí hubo algunas palabras, y luego una procesión visitó el lugar del ataque antes de ir al cementerio Givat Shaul de Jerusalén, donde lo enterraron.
El director de su Yeshivá, rabino Elishama Cohen, llamó a Dimentman «un soldado de la Torá». Además, agregó que «Homesh dirá en voz alta y clara que este lugar es completamente nuestro».
Por su parte, el hermano del fallecido, Shlomi, también pidió al gobierno que «renueve Homesh». Dijo que “los árabes aquí están celebrando y felices de ver cómo somos humillados, principalmente por el Tribunal Superior de Justicia y otros que odian a Israel que los ayudan».

A Dimantman, estudiante de yeshiva de 25 años, le sobreviven su esposa y su hijo de un año y medio.
Neria Shlomo Perlzman (25), herido en el mismo atentado que se cobró la vida de Dimentman, era el conductor cuando los terroristas abrieron fuego.
“Nos alcanzaron con una ronda de proyectiles, y me di cuenta enseguida de que era un tiroteo. Giré el auto hacia la izquierda y lo dirigí hacia la carretera, mientras volvieron a disparar. Las balas golpearon las ruedas y provocaron un pinchazo, así que condujimos como locos hasta Shavei Shomron, donde los socorristas nos atendieron”, expresó Perlzman.
“No puedo creer que hablo de él en tiempo pasado. No tiene sentido. Es una pesadilla. Siempre cuidó de sus amigos. Tiene un hijo de año y medio que no hizo nada para merecer quedarse sin padre”, agregó.
Los dos pasajeros sufrieron heridas leves en el ataque por vidrios rotos. Dimentman sufrió la herida de bala y murió luego de que lo trasladaran al Centro Médico Rabin-Campus Beilinson en Petah Tikva.
