Del 18 al 29 de agosto se realizará la quinta edición del “Festival de Cocina Israelí”, organizado por la Embajada de Israel en Argentina que contará con menús especiales de restaurantes, emprendimientos gastronómicos y deliveries de todo el país.

Como todos los años se podrá disfrutar de menús exclusivos israelíes creados especialmente para esta semana. En un vasto circuito de lugares que pronto se develará en la web www.cocinaisraeli.com.ar. Pero además, en esta edición, el concepto a desarrollar será “Probando Innovación”. La intención es la de proponer platos fusión que permitan adentrarse en los sabores más actuales provenientes de Medio Oriente y el Mediterráneo que integran la gastronomía israelí, una cocina  fresca y en constante evolución que es un fiel reflejo de la identidad innovadora de este país, conocida como la “Start-up Nation”-la nación de las start-ups-. 

Tanto en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, como en el interior del país, decenas de restaurantes, deliveries y emprendedores gastronómicos se unirán para ofrecer platos basados en la versátil cocina del país hebreo que se combinarán con lo mejor de la materia prima local. 

La programación de este festival se completará con contenidos culturales como shows, muestras fotográficas y degustaciones, además de sorteos y masterclasses que se irán anunciando y estarán disponibles de manera gratuita en las redes de la Embajada de Israel en Argentina.

La innovadora cocina israelí

A pocos meses de la celebración de los 75 años de la creación del Estado de Israel, la cocina israelí hoy se destaca en el mundo por su búsqueda de innovación constante que fusiona de manera creativa a cientos de sabores que fueron traídos por la gran diversidad de inmigrantes que poblaron el país. Este mix de culturas aportó mucha frescura y rebeldía, animando a los cocineros a mezclar sabores y reversionar platos típicos de otras latitudes. Así se pueden probar ceviches provenientes de América con limón mesina -de esta región-, o postres tradicionales como un semifredo pero en versión vegana a base de semillas de sésamo. De hecho esta libertad de experimentación culinaria convirtió a Israel en el país con la mayor oferta gastronómica vegana de todo el mundo.

Por este motivo, esta  nueva edición del “Festival de la Cocina Israelí” será la oportunidad perfecta para probar platos que sorprendan.  Por qué no pensar en una shakshuka verde o en un hummus de zanahoria? También experimentar con ingredientes pocos explorados en Argentina; Como las hojas de parra, la sal de mar, el frike -el trigo partido ahumado- o el cilan -la miel de dátiles-, sabores que integran la joven cocina isrelí, la cual siempre tiene muy presente a los pescados del mar mediterráneo con sus sardinas, arenques y otras especies, así como el infaltable aceite de oliva, el perejil, la tjina -o tahine-, el zahatar, la harissa y otros típicos ingredientes de Medio Oriente como los frutos secos con el pistacho a la cabeza. 

En esta edición, con el objetivo de amplificar y disfrutar de la gastronomía y su cultura, e inspirados por la masterclass brindada por el chef israelí de origen argentino, Lucas Zitrinovich, cada espacio gastronómico recreará platos tradicionales o de fusión inspirados en los sabores israelíes.

“La comida israelí está en auge. Muchos de sus restaurantes y chefs están siendo reconocidos en diversos países por la innovación aplicada a las recetas clásicas,  a través de técnicas nuevas y dispositivos tecnológicos aplicados a la industria de la alimentación, pero manteniendo su esencia saludable y, especialmente, utilizando alimentos nobles y  accesibles. Además, todos saben que Israel es tendencia en su oferta vegetariana. La gastronomía israelí es un fiel reflejo de quienes somos. Nuestra identidad culinaria se asienta en la diversidad, lo que hace que sea muy especial, y nos motiva a que más argentinos puedan conocerla”, adelanta Amital Perry, Agregada de Diplomacia Pública de la Embajada  de Israel en la Argentina. 

5ta edición del Festival de Cocina israelí

¿QUÉ ES? Se trata de la quinta edición de la semana de la gastronomía y comida israelí. Una red de establecimientos gastronómicos ofrecerán en sus cartas menús especialmente diseñados para la ocasión. Además, se ofrecerán actividades culturales y diversos  contenidos en las redes sociales de la sede diplomática. 

¿DÓNDE y CÓMO? Participan restaurantes, deliveries y emprendedores de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, y del Gran Buenos Aires, junto a otras ciudades del país. Cada restaurante tendrá una propuesta especial para pedir telefónicamente, retirar personalmente, o vía delivery o para disfrutar en los locales. Muy pronto se podrá encontrar detalles de cada lugar y menú en www.cocinaisraeli.com.ar
