Además, en el mismo reportaje resaltó: “Todos los judíos Ashkenazi se convirtieron y que no son judíos por naturaleza”.
Debido a estas declaraciones debió retractarse: «Debería haber hablado de manera más consistente. Estoy en contra de cualquier tipo de antisemitismo y debería haber sido más preciso al hablar de mis creencias”.
Y cerró: “Soy judío ortodoxo y no estoy relacionado de ninguna manera con el grupo ‘hebreo israelí’. Creo firmemente que cualquiera que afirme que quiere ser judío o afirme serlo, debe convertirse de acuerdo con los principios de la Tora”.
Hace pocos días, se anunció que Meyers Leonard, basquetbolista acusado de otro comentario antisemita, volverá a jugar en la NBA tras firmar con un contrato con los Bucks.
El deportista, luego de ser expulsado de la liga, estampó su firma por 10 días. El equipo lo tendrá a prueba debido a que viene de recuperarse de lesiones en el hombro y piernas.
En el 2021, el jugador de la NBA estaba jugando una partida online en el videojuego Call of Duty. Mientras transmitía el juego expresó: “¡Putos cobardes! No me dispares, jodido ‘kike’”, en referencia a la comunidad judía.
Tras esto, el entonces pivot de Heat fue traspasado a los Thunder, que al poco tiempo liberó su pase.

They didn’t even say why the link is anti semitic, they just said the guy is anti semitic without giving any details. It’s like saying «he’s a bigot, but we’re not gonna explain why, just trust us, we’re cooler!»
