Un grupo de manifestantes atacó a Pilar Rahola con pintura roja en una conferencia en La Garriga, Barcelona, en el Vallès Oriental. La periodista, escritora y colaboradora de ElNacional.cat participaba este martes por la tarde en la conferencia inaugural de la Fundació Universitària Martí l’Humà, que ha sido interrumpida por los activistas. Según recogen medios locales, los manifestantes han llevado a cabo la acción «en protesta contra el estado de Israel».

Mientras intervenía ante más de cien personas en el Teatre el Patronat, los activistas han subido al escenario y la han rociado con mucha pintura roja. Tal como se ve en las imágenes difundidas por la prensa local —y la periodista ha explicado a ElNacional.cat—, Rahola se ha limpiado y se ha cambiado de ropa para completar la conferencia. Fuera del teatro, una veintena de personas se ha concentrado con pancartas que rezaban «Combatamos a los cómplices del genocidio», «Destruyamos el estado sionista de Israel» y «El sionismo es fascismo». Después del ataque, los manifestantes han reprochado a la escritora que está «manchada de sangre».

 

Rahola: «No me harán callar»

En declaraciones en ElNacional.cat, Rahola ha recordado que los anarquistas intentaron matar a su abuelo y que los fascistas mataron a su tío abuelo, Carles Rahola: «Sé qué es el fascismo de izquierdas y de derechas«. «No me asustarán ni me harán callar y la prueba es que he dado la conferencia», ha expresado, antes de reivindicar que tiene «derecho al debate y a la palabra». Y como conclusión: «No permitiré que unos fascistas me impidan hablar«.

La sección local de la Organización Juvenil Socialista (OJS) del Vallès Oriental y el Baix Montseny ha reivindicado la acción. En un tuit, la organización ha asegurado que ha conseguido «impedir la realización del acto de la sionista reaccionaria Pilar Rahola», aunque la verdad es que la periodista se ha limpiado, se ha cambiado la ropa y ha completado su conferencia.
