Un diario semanal de Kansas en Estados Unidos, publicó una caricatura en su página de Facebook comparando el Holocausto con la exigencia del uso de barbijos.

Su leyenda es: «Lockdown Laura dice: Ponte la máscara … y sube al carro del ganado».

El periódico publicó la caricatura el viernes, el día en que entró en vigencia la orden de máscaras de Kelly.

La gobernadora emitió la orden debido a un resurgimiento en los casos de coronavirus que aumentó el total del estado a casi 16,000 a partir del viernes cuando Kansas terminó su peor aumento de dos semanas desde que comenzó la pandemia. El estado ha informado 277 muertes relacionadas con el coronavirus.

Se cree que la cantidad de infecciones es mucho mayor porque muchas personas no se han hecho la prueba.

El editor Dane Hicks, además de ser el editor del diario de Kansas en Estados Unidos que comparó el uso de barbijos con el Holocausto, preside el partido Republicano.
