La Agencia Judía para Israel: “Aún en épocas de crisis, la Aliá es nuestro principal compromiso”

Durante el mes de julio, La Agencia Judía para Israel despedirá a más de 50 olim que culminarán exitosamente su proceso de Aliá en Argentina para cumplir su sueño de vivir en Israel. Dos vuelos partirán del aeropuerto de Ezeiza en Buenos Aires los días 14 y 21 de julio.

Entre los pasajeros hay familias con hijos pequeños y jóvenes que participarán en diferentes programas de La Agencia Judía, en kibutzim y en diferentes ciudades. La mayoría de ellos tienen amigos y familiares que los están esperando ansiosamente y desean verlos luego de varios meses de espera a causa de la pandemia, que demora la salida de vuelos comerciales desde el mes de marzo.

Para poder concertar su Aliá en este contexto, cada uno de los olim cumplió con requisitos consulares y médicos específicos, relacionados con protocolos de vuelos y de salud pública en Israel. Por tal motivo, al llegar tendrán que permanecer 15 días en aislamiento, en un hotel o en hogares privados que ellos eligieron.

Reuniones informativas de Aliá

Con el objetivo de informar beneficios y oportunidades que el Estado de Israel ofrece, La Agencia Judía organiza en mensualmente sus «Reuniones Informativas de Aliá». Desde el inicio de la cuarentena se llevan a cabo en el formato virtual.

Según afirman desde la organización, “estas reuniones son accesibles para todos, gente de cualquier punto del país puede acceder a todas nuestras actividades y charlas. El número de inscriptos creció considerablemente en los últimos dos o tres meses”.

También mensualmente, La Agencia organiza una reunión especial para dar a conocer asuntos relacionados a estudios, beneficios y programas específicos para jóvenes. Y existe una asesora laboral que apunta a orientar a los olim en sus dudas con respecto al mundo del empleo en Israel, organiza actividades específicas enfocadas en cada profesión y busca contactar a los interesados con profesionales israelíes que puedan compartir su experiencia.

El rol de La Agencia Judía en la Aliá

La creación de La Agencia Judía para Israel se definió en el 16° Congreso Sionista, en 1929, 19 años antes de la creación del Estado de Israel. Si bien los objetivos de la organización fueron adaptándose a las diferentes realidades durante sus 90 años de existencia, el foco siempre estuvo puesto en acercar a los judíos del mundo a Israel y acercar Israel a los judíos del mundo, y facilitar la Aliá fue históricamente y sigue siendo su principal misión. El Estado de Israel otorgó a La Agencia Judía la facultad de brindar la ciudadanía Israelí a todas las personas amparadas bajo la Ley del Retorno.

La Agencia Judía en Argentina

Como en todos los lugares del mundo en donde hay una comunidad judía, La Agencia Judía tiene presencia en la Argentina desde el año 1936. Además de centralizar los trámites de Aliá y acompañar a los olim, es parte fundamental de los programas más populares que acercan a los jóvenes de nuestra comunidad a Israel: Masá, Taglit, Onward y Jail.

También apoya desde siempre a los movimientos juveniles sionistas y trabaja con las comunidades del interior del país. “Parte de nuestra misión es apoyar a las comunidades judías alrededor del mundo y acercar a Israel a cada rincón del planeta. Según una encuesta de 2018, La Agencia Judía es percibida, detrás de la Embajada de Israel, como el principal referente comunitario cuando se habla de Israel. Eso para nosotros habla del éxito de nuestros esfuerzos”, afirman autoridades de la organización.
