El régimen de Irán ha reaccionado con enojo al acuerdo forjado entre Israel y los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. El mismo los llevará al establecimiento de relaciones diplomáticas oficiales.
Un asesor del presidente del parlamento de Irán emitió el jueves la primera respuesta del régimen al acuerdo de normalización de relaciones entre Israel y EAU.
“El nuevo enfoque de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos para normalizar los lazos con el falso y criminal de Israel no mantiene la paz y la seguridad. Solo sirve a los crímenes de los sionistas en curso”, escribió Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. Es el asesor de asuntos internacionales y exviceministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Irán, en un mensaje de Twitter.

Durante una visita a Líbano con motivo de la reciente explosión en Beirut, Zarif afirmó en un mensaje a la televisión: “Ellos [EE. UU.] piensan que al fabricar un teatro como el que ocurrió ayer, lamentablemente, pueden determinar el destino de Palestina”.
“El actual gobierno estadounidense ha demostrado que no es capaz de comprender las realidades políticas de nuestra región”, sostuvo.
La Autoridad Palestina también reaccionó con furia al anuncio. Piden a los Emiratos Árabes Unidos que “se retractaran de inmediato” de su acuerdo, que calificó de “decisión despreciable”.
El presidente de la Autoridad Palestina, Mahmoud Abbas, convocó una reunión de emergencia en respuesta al acuerdo. A la par que su gobierno llamó de vuelta a su embajador en los Emiratos Árabes Unidos en protesta por el acuerdo.
“El liderazgo palestino rechaza las acciones del gobierno emiratí, considerándolas una traición al pueblo palestino, a Jerusalén y al-Aqsa”. Lo expresó en un comunicado el portavoz de la Autoridad Palestina, Nabil Abu Rudeineh.
Altos funcionarios de Fatah y la Organización para la Liberación de Palestina también criticaron el acuerdo, al igual que los grupos terroristas Hamás y la Yihad Islámica Palestina de la Franja de Gaza.
Abbas y el jefe político de Hamás, Ismail Haniyeh, hablaron por teléfono el jueves por la noche para discutir el acuerdo entre los Emiratos Árabes Unidos e Israel.
