En Kiev, capital de Ucrania, manifestantes utilizaron disfraces de prisioneros de los campos de concentración nazis para protestar contra la cuarentena.

Fueron más de 1000 personas que asistieron sin barbijos, que tuvo discursos por parte de líderes del movimiento popular.

La marcha fue de carácter global, ya que se convocó a nivel mundial y se llevó a cabo al mismo tiempo en aproximadamente 100 países.

No es la primera vez que aparecen públicamente disfraces de prisioneros nazis y generan indignación.

En febrero del año pasado, una comparsa en el carnaval de Campo de Criptana en España generó indignación nacional e internacional luego de que hiciera su ingreso con trajes nazis y prisioneros del Holocausto.

Ucrania tiene numerosos ejemplos de hechos antisemitas. En octubre del 2020, por ejemplo, participantes en una marcha nacionalista en Ucrania levantaron una pancarta condenando la «ocupación y el robo» del país por un «clan judío». La pancarta, por su parte, estuvo dirigida al presidente judío del país, Vlodymyr Zelensky.

En 2018, en una estación de metro, apareció un graffiti netamente antisemita que decía «maten a los judíos». La pintada fue realizada en la máquina donde se paga el boleto. No identificaron al autor del suceso.
