David Torres, autor de editorial antisemita, pidió perdón en su nuevo artículo

David Torres, autor de la editorial antisemita «Ayuso va hacia arriba», escribió un nuevo artículo para pedir perdón.

A través del medio español Público, el escritor había utilizado comparaciones como «Los judíos del III Reich se acostumbraron a los campos de concentración, los disidentes soviéticos al gulag siberiano, los ciudadanos madrileños al PP, y así todo».

En su último artículo, en el que se disculpó, expresó: «En ningún momento se me pasó por la cabeza que pudiera estar ofendiendo la memoria de las víctimas del Holocausto. Da igual la intención irónica o sarcástica. Equiparar a los ciudadanos del Madrid bajo el gobierno del PP con los judíos prisioneros en Auschwitz no fue sólo una hipérbole desafortunada o una comparación lamentable, sino una estupidez, uno de esos resbalones verbales de los que uno no se da cuenta hasta que ve el daño que ha hecho».

A su vez, aseguró: «No tengo excusas. Lamento profundamente el dolor, la indignación y el malestar que hayan producido mis palabras».

Lo curioso de la «equivocación» de Torres es que estudió y conoció de cerca el tema. «Leí una abundante bibliografía sobre el Holocausto, visité el campo de exterminio de Auschwitz-Birkenau en dos ocasiones. Vi con mis propios ojos los hornos crematorios, las alambradas, la cámara de gas», comentó.

Por su parte, la organización ACOM, que promueve la relación entre España e Israel y expone los sucesos de antisemitismo, publicó un hilo en Twitter.

Allí, ponen en duda la veracidad en las disculpas del medio y del autor de la editorial: «No son creíbles».
