Este jueves se realizó el acto central en memoria y reclamo de justicia por el 30° aniversario del atentado a la embajada de Israel. La hora de inicio no fue un detalle menor, puesto que se trata del momento exacto en el que se concretó el ataque terrorista aquel 17 de marzo de 1992 y el punto de encuentro tampoco, debido a que es el lugar en el que se encontraba la anterior sede, en el cruce de las calles Arroyo y Suipacha, en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Allí, hubo un fuerte reclamo de Israel, que llegó en palabras de Gideon Sa´ar. “¿Cuánto tiempo más tenemos que esperar para que se haga justicia?”, preguntó del viceprimer ministro y ministro de Justicia israelí.
Tal como se adelantó, el acto central para recordar y homenajear a las víctimas del atentado contó con la participación del presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Sergio Massa, el jefe de Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta; el Canciller Santiago Cafiero; y el ministro de Justicia de la Nación, Martín Soria, y del viceprimer ministro y ministro de Justicia de Israel, Gideon Sa´ar, entre otros. Quien no es parte de la actividad oficial es el Presidente de la Nación, Alberto Fernández, quien anticipó que no asistiría.
El Presidente fue invitado, pero decidió limitarse a recibir a autoridades del Congreso Judío Latinoamericano en la Casa Rosada. En su lugar estará Martín Soria, ministro de Justicia. El viernes recibirá al viceprimer ministro israelí, Gideon Sa’ar.
Para este aniversario llegó de Israel una comitiva encabeza por Sa´ar -cuyo padre es argentino-, por el director adjunto de la Cancillería israelí para América Latina y el Caribe, Jonathan Peled, y una delegación de sobrevivientes y familiares de personas que perdieron la vida en el atentado.
En el inicio del acto se leyó el nombre de cada una de las víctimas. Luego, Sa´ar y la embajadora de Israel en Argentina, Galit Ronen, realizaron una ofrenda floral a las víctimas. También lo hicieron representantes de la política y familiares de las víctimas, además del titular de AMIA, Ariel Eichbaum; y su par de la DAIA, Jorge Knoblovits.
Miri Ben Zeev, quien perdió a su marido en el atentado a la embajada, brindó unas palabras a los presentes en un conmovedor discurso. “Cuando llego acá, lo siento más cerca. A las 14.30 aún estábamos hablando por teléfono y planificando el día”, señaló la mujer sobre los instantes previos al ataque. “Somos una familia que intenta reparar las heridas”, agregó. “Nosotros estamos presentes”, completó en español la mujer.
Quien cerró los discursos fue el viceprimer ministro y ministro de Justicia de Israel. “Estar ante ustedes es muy significativo para mí, es un momento de unión, Israel y Argentina comparten el dolor de este terrible atentado. Somos dos pueblos unidos en memoria de nuestras víctimas”, manifestó Sa’ar. “Este fue un atentado terrorista contra mi país, contra nuestra embajada y nuestros compatriotas, sin embargo, también fue un atentado contra la Argentina, país en el que mi padre nació y creció”, detalló.
“¿Cuánto tiempo más tendremos que esperar para que se haga justicia?”, planteó en su discurso el ministro israelí.

Por último, Sa’ar advirtió en el marco de la política internacional: “Liberarse del régimen de sanciones es el único objetivo real de Irán. Este acuerdo liberará una amplia suma de dinero para Irán y sus aliados terroristas, como Hezbollah. El flujo de dinero iraní incrementará el extremismo y la inestabilidad en medio oriente y en otros lugares del mundo, consolida el terror en la región y en el mundo”.
“Lamentablemente no podemos decir que se haya conseguido la verdad y mucho menos que se haya hecho justicia por las víctimas del atentado a la embajada de Israel”, señaló luego Soria. A la hora de brindar sus palabras, el ministro de Justicia unificó el reclamo con el caso del ataque a la AMIA. “En los dos ataques lamentablemente el denominador común es el nulo avance de las causas judiciales que generan dolorosa impunidad. En 30 años ya no hay palabras ni discursos. No alcanza nada. Nada es suficiente cuando no hay justicia”, señaló.

Minutos antes del ministro de Justicia, quien también fue parte de los discursos fue la embajadora de Israel en Argentina: “30 años de memoria en los cuales sabemos la verdad, sabemos quiénes son los responsables de este atentado y también del atentado que vino dos años más tarde en la AMIA”.
En ese sentido, Ronen agregó: “Tiene nombre y apellido: su nombre es Hezbollah y su apellido es Irán. La misma Irán que en este momento está negociando con los poderes mundiales sobre su programa nuclear. Al mismo tiempo, a plena luz del día, está llamando a la destrucción del Estado de Israel”.
