Documental palestino-israelí gana el Emmy

El film israelo-palestino «5 Cámaras Rotas» (5 Broken Cameras) ha obtenido el premio Emmy Internacional en la categoría documental. El co-director palestino Emad Burnat recogió el prestigioso premio durante una gala de premios que tuvo lugar en la ciudad de Nueva York. El documental fue nominado previamente para un Oscar y ganó un premio en el Festival de Cine de Sundance 2012.

Burnat colaboró ​​con el co-director israelí Guy Davidi en la realización del documental. La película se centró en los agricultores de Cisjordania, el fotógrafo Burnat y su batalla de cinco años contra la barrera de separación entre su pueblo (palestino) y el asentamiento vecino (israelí).
