El presidente de Israel, Reuven Rivlin, criticó este sábado las palabras de su homólogo brasileño, Jair Bolsonaro, que el pasado 2 de abril afirmó que el Holocausto «puede ser perdonado».
«Nadie ordenará el perdón del pueblo judío, y nunca se podrá comprar el perdón en nombre de intereses», publicó Rivlin en su cuenta de Twitter: «Lo que [los nazis] nos hicieron está grabado en nuestra memoria, la memoria de un pueblo antiguo».
«Nunca cooperaremos con aquellos que niegan la verdad o tratan de borrarla de la memoria. Ni con individuos ni grupos, ni con líderes de partidos ni con jefes de Estado», agregó, aparentemente en referencia a Bolsonaro.
El tuit, citado por varios medios locales, fue eliminado posteriormente por causas desconocidas. En una nueva publicación, el político israelí declara que su país se opondrá «a aquellos que niegan la verdad o a los que desean borrar la memoria» de Israel.
