Desde el gobierno israelí se tiene la certeza de que el aumento de las hostilidades del terrorismo islámico se relaciona con impedir que se realice el Festival de Eurovisión en Tel Aviv a partir del 14 de Mayo. Esta mañana hubo un bombardeo intensivo a ciudades del sur de Israel. Las FDI (Fuerzas de Defensa Israelíes) respondieron con dureza. Una mujer gravemente herida en Kiriat Gan es el saldo por ahora en Israel, también hubo muchas casas destruídas e incendios en campos aledaños. Los palestinos reportaron cinco muertos.
