Una voz proveniente de un pequeño altavoz ubicado en el techo, te guiará durante los siguientes minutos.
Al entrar, se deberá tirar un dado que tiene letras a sus lados, y un signo de interrogación. En caso de recibir el lado con el signo, la comida será gratis. Si se recibe un lado con una letra, se debe encontrar la palabra que comienza con la misma dentro de ese cuarto: emoción, trabajo, amigos, vocación y felicidad. Según los fundadores, las cinco palabras representan las cinco cosas que uno lamenta un momento antes de su muerte. Luego de que «la voz» realice una breve pregunta, se deberá decidir entre un plato con pescado, carne o un plato vegano, y mientras se espera, la voz relatará el significado de esa palabra en nuestras vidas.
Detrás de esta aventura se encuentra Guy Bar Lev, un empresario culinario con una mente particularmente creativa: «Tuve un sueño delirante por la noche para abrir Mystery Box», señaló, y agregó que «todos ya saben preparar comida, pero creo que hoy también el cliente necesita una experiencia».
