Leo en el portal argentino Vis á Vis una información del Centro Kantor de la Universidad de Tel Aviv que alerta de la nueva ola de antisemitismo que recorre el planeta.

Esta vez a raíz de las teorías conspiranoides sobre la Covid-19. El contenido es desesperante y arraiga en los mitos antisemitas clásicos, responsables de siglos de persecución a todo un pueblo.

Recordemos que Auschwitz fue la parada final de un largo proceso de demonización, persecución y muerte.

En este caso, las teorías van desde la afirmación de que Israel creó el virus para matar a los musulmanes hasta la idea de que los judíos siempre han estado detrás de las pandemias y fueron responsables de la peste negra.

Entre el antisemitismo clásico, proveniente del mito deicida cristiano, y el feroz antisemitismo islámico, pasando por el antisionismo de izquierdas, solo faltaba la Covid-19.

Para volver a uno de los estigmas más letales de la historia de la humanidad. Un estigma que llegó a crear una industria de exterminio.

Mel Gibson llamó a Winona Ryder “escapada de los hornos” por ser judía

Traigo a colación el tema porque, en paralelo, leo estos días dos noticias vinculadas a Mel Gibson, cuyo antisemitismo ultracatólico es bien conocido.

Una de ellas recala en las fuertes acusaciones de Winona Ryder, que, entre otras lindezas, asegura que el actor la llamó “escapada de los hornos” por su condición de judía.

La otra, la voluntad de Gibson de hacer una secuela de La Pasión de Cristo , lo cual alarma a quienes denunciaron el feroz antisemitismo de la película estrenada en el 2003.

Esto motivó que el congresista neoyorquino Dov Hikind llevara a 50 judíos a las oficinas de Fox para disuadir a la 20th Century de distribuirla.

Tanto la Liga Antidifamación Americana (ADL), como la Conferencia de Obispos Católicos de EE.UU. publicaron una declaración conjunta donde aseguraban que la película tenía el potencial antisemita más preocupante de las últimas décadas.

En la película, Jesús es perseguido por “una cábala malvada de judíos”, y el retrato de los judíos es el clásico antisemita medieval: fariseos perversos, nariz de gancho.

Si añadimos su frase cuando fue detenido borracho, “los judíos son responsables de todas las guerras del mundo”. O las que soltó a Joe Eszterhas sobre los judíos –sacrificio de niños, evasores de hornos– o sobre el Holocausto –“un montón de mierda falsa”. Cabe asegurar que una secuela de La Pasión en manos de un ultracatólico contrario al concilio Vaticano II sería alimento suculento para la judeofobia. Teníamos el antisemitismo clásico y después la Covid-19, solo faltaba Gibson para unirse a la bacanal. Viejo odio, maldad eterna.
