La DAIA, representación de la comunidad judía argentina, tras la muerte del ex Primer Mandatario Carlos Menem, expresa que durante su presidencia se produjeron los dos atentados terroristas más graves de la historia argentina. La desidia, la negligencia y, sobre todo, la complicidad con los sospechosos de haber cometido esos crímenes explican porqué hoy, ambas masacres siguen impunes.

Carlos Menem muere en libertad a pesar de que su Gobierno utilizó a las instituciones del Estado argentino para perpetuar la impunidad y encubrir la responsabilidad de quienes cometieron y fueron cómplices de los atentados.
Menem falleció amparado hasta el último día por sus fueros de senador que impidieron que estuviera preso. Nunca pagó por su responsabilidad en el encubrimiento del atentado contra la AMIA-DAIA.
Como organización de Derechos Humanos, la DAIA tampoco olvida su indignante y triste decisión de indultar a los principales responsables de los crímenes cometidos durante la última dictadura militar. Burlándose de la Justicia, familiares de detenidos desaparecidos y sobrevivientes.
