Mucha tristeza causó la muerte de Marcelo Svidovsky Z´L, un dirigente de extensa trayectoria comunitaria y que venía atravesando una enfermedad.

«Desde la Fundación Judaica y todos los nodos que integran su red, lamentan la inconmesurable pérdida de nuestro querido Marcelo Svidovsky Z’L. Fundador, pionero, constructor y compañero, su legado vivirá por siempre y su alma unido a lo eterno. Sea su memoria bendición y su descanso en paz. Hamakom Lenajem.

Esposo de Nancy y papá de Adam, Lara, Ian y Micaela. Marcelo era un reconocido hincha de Velez.

En el año 2015 la comunidad de San Martín se unió a la Fundación Judaica y para ejemplificar el pensamiento de Marcelo, recordamos su testimonio: “Este momento fundacional es el resultado del trabajo conjunto. De dirigentes y profesionales que creen en la responsabilidad de unos por los otros. Estamos aquí para colaborar y estamos seguros que Kehilatid va a aportar desde su lugar muchísimo a nuestra Red. Todas las áreas de trabajo de Judaica (educación, cultura, asistencia social, diálogo interreligioso, inclusión y diversidad) están al servicio de las instituciones de la Red. Es una construcción que sólo puede realizarse unificando voluntades”, sostuvo como Presidente de NCI-Emanu El y miembro del Nodo de Gobierno de Fundación Judaica.
