Santino Menín, remero de Hacoaj de 18 años, alcanzó el N° 1 en el Ránking Nacional Junior

Al imponerse sobre 48 deportistas en el selectivo nacional de remo realizado en Villa Constitución, Santa Fe, del 12 al 14 de marzo pasado, Santino Menin alcanzó la primera posición en el ranking nacional de los juniors.

Con este logro, Santino se inscribe en la muy extensa tradición de remeros de Hacoaj que llegan a lo más alto del deporte nacional, con proyección internacional. Desde aquella primera regata ganada por Federico Bircz Z”L y Fernando Saltzman Z”L en 1950.

“El deporte ocupa un lugar central en mi vida -expresa Santino-. Me levanto a las 5.30 de la mañana para ir a remar, hasta el mediodía y después volver a la tarde, a seguir entrenando. Así todos los días. Mi próximo objetivo es participar en los Juegos Panamericanos”.

Socio de Hacoaj desde su nacimiento. Santino Menin es un ejemplo de lo que cualquier chico o chica puede lograr, a través del deporte, con tesón y perseverancia. En 2020 terminó el secundario en ORT y ahora está cursando la tecnicatura en Entrenamiento Deportivo en el ISDE, Instituto Superior del Deporte.

El pre-equipo de remo de Hacoaj está abierto a jóvenes de 11 a 15 años que quieran probarse, los sábados y domingos a las 9 de la mañana y los martes y jueves a las 6 de la tarde, en la rampa de la Sede Tigre Maliar. Más info: [email protected]
