En el marco por la celebración del Día de Jerusalem, el día lunes 10 de Mayo, el Departamento de Promoción de Aliá de la Organización Sionista Mundial junto a la Organización Sionista Argentina invitan a participar de la entrevista a Fleur Hassan Nahoum, Vicealcaldesa de Jerusalem. «Desafíos y Oportunidades en la Ciudad de Oro»

Fleur Hassan-Nahoum nació en Londres , Reino Unido y creció en Gibraltar. Es hija de Sir Joshua Abraham Hassan , quien se desempeñó como Ministro Principal y Alcalde de Gibraltar, y su segunda esposa, Marcelle Bensimon, ambos judíos de origen marroquí. Su hermana menor, Marlene Hassan Nahon , es miembro del Parlamento de Gibraltar y líder del Partido Juntos Gibraltar.

En el período previo al Día de , que este año cae el 9 de mayo, la ciudad sigue siendo la más grande de Israel, con una población cercana al millón, según un estudio del Instituto de Investigación de Políticas de la capital.

Hassan-Nahoum creció bilingüe y hablaba español e inglés.

En 1991, a la edad de 18 años, Hassan-Nahoum regresó a Londres para estudiar derecho en el King’s College de Londres. Ahí es donde se desempeñó como presidenta de la Sociedad Judía del King’s College. Después de calificar como abogada en 1997, ejerció la abogacía en Londres y se convirtió en directora de campaña de World Jewish Relief .

En 2001, Hassan-Nahoum emigró a Israel. Está casada y tiene cuatro hijos.

Está a cargo del Departamento de Relaciones exteriores, Desarrollo económico internacional y turismo de la Municipalidad de Jerusalem.
Además, es fundadora del Consejo de Negocios Israel-Emiratos Árabes Unidos.
