Hamás difundió imágenes de un israelí que está  secuestrado, previo al intercambio de prisioneros que exige el grupo terrorista.

La cinta fue revelada a través de la cadena de noticias Al-Jazeera. El prisionero israelí, Avera Mengistu, secuestrado por Hamás hace casi siete años, dice que está en “el cautiverio de las Brigadas Al-Qassam” y que “muere todos los días”. Los servicios de defensa de Israel, a su vez, están investigando el asunto, según informó Walla news.

Pero a pesar de los avances y averiguaciones sobre la grabación, la madre de Mengistu afirma que la escuchó como todo el mundo y que está segura de que no es la voz de su hijo.

“Estoy esperando a mi hijo y espero encontrarme con él pronto, como siempre me prometieron”, añadió.

La grabación, a su vez, se hizo pública justo cuando Marwan Issa, adjunto del comandante del ala militar de Hamás, Mohammed Deif, habló por primera vez desde el final de la operación “Guardián de los Muros” en Al-Jazeera, con el rostro difuminado.

Issa se refirió al acuerdo de intercambio de prisioneros y reveló información sobre el cautiverio de Gilad Shalit.

Precisamente, Hamás retuvo a Shalit durante cinco años, de 2006 a 2011. Lo capturaron militantes terroristas en una incursión transfronteriza a través de túneles subterráneos.

El soldado israelí secuestrado por Hamás obtuvo su libertad durante un intercambio de prisioneros, en el que Israel liberó a 1.027 prisioneros a cambio.

“Hamás está angustiado tras los duros golpes que recibió en la operación ‘Guardián de los Muros’. Ahora está intentando una manipulación barata y transparente en este caso”, comentó el coordinador del gobierno israelí para prisioneros y desaparecidos, Yaron Blum.

“Israel es muy consciente de la difícil situación de los hijos Hadar Goldin y Oron Shaul, que sus memorias sean bendecidas. Y de los dos ciudadanos Avera Mengistu y Hisham al-Sayed, que cruzaron la frontera todavía vivos”, dijo Blum.

“El Estado de Israel seguirá actuando con determinación y responsabilidad para el retorno de los hijos y ciudadanos”, concluyó.

Issa también reveló que, tras el secuestro de Shalit, varios mediadores de la Autoridad Palestina (AP) y de Egipto se contactaron para liberarlo. “Lo trasladamos de un lugar a otro para vigilarlo. La AP y Egipto intentaron acabar con el asunto de forma discreta”, reconoció.

“El general de brigada de Gaza, Bassem Issa, es quien creó la unidad en la sombra y tuvo el papel más importante en la ocultación de Gilad Scalit”, expresó.

Para finalizar, dijo: “Tenemos fichas de negociación para completar un acuerdo de intercambio de prisioneros respetable. Los presos son lo más importante y es el tema que está ahora sobre la mesa”.
