Frustran un atentado y abaten a la terrorista en Jerusalén

Un intento de ataque combinado de apuñalamiento y embestida fue frustrado por las FDI en las afueras de la ciudad de Hizma, cerca de Jerusalén, el miércoles, informó el ejército en un comunicado.

Mi Haafana, una mujer palestina que llegó al lugar intentó atropellar a los soldados que estaban realizando trabajos de ingeniería. Luego salió de su automóvil y trató de apuñalar a los guardias de seguridad. A la terrorista la abatieron a tiros por los soldados. Uno de los efectivos resultó levemente herido y lo atendieron en el lugar.

El terrorista de 29 años, es de Abu Dis. Así lo indicaron los medios palestinos.1

El intento de ataque se produce un día después de que los palestinos se enfrentaran con las fuerzas de seguridad israelíes en Jerusalén en medio de altas tensiones en torno a la marcha de la bandera a través de la Ciudad Vieja de Jerusalén.

El último episodio antes del conflicto, ocurrió en los primeros días de mayo cuando la Policía de Frontera y las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel abatieron a un escuadrón terrorista que abrió fuego en el paso de Salem, en la zona fronteriza entre Cisjordania y el norte israelí, cerca de la ciudad palestina de Jenin.

Dos de los terroristas murieron en el tiroteo y un tercero fue gravemente herido. Luego lo trasladaron a un hospital en Afula. Cada uno de ellos portaba un rifle y un cuchillo. También fueron encontrados en la escena numerosas balas. Un vocero policial informó que todavía no se determinaron las identidades de los atacantes.
El atentado se produjo en el ingreso a una base de las FDI en donde funciona un tribunal militar. Diariamente son llevados por las fuerzas de seguridad decenas de palestinos. No hay ningún asentamiento civil israelí cerca de la zona del incidente.
