Basilea organiza una charla a cargo de Javier Milei: "El milagro económico israelí y sus enseñanzas para la Argentina"

El Centro de Diplomacia Pública Basilea llevará a cabo el lunes una charla a cargo del economista Javier Milei que se titula: «El milagro económico israelí y sus enseñanzas para la Argentina».

El vicepresidente de Basilea, Ilan Buzny, dialogó con Vis á Vis acerca de esta actividad. «El tema central de la charla será ver qué herramientas y aprendizajes podemos obtener de aquel momento crítico que atravesó Israel en el plano económico y social. El mismo se terminó convirtiendo en bisagra en la década del ’80», expresó.

«Muchas veces cuando se habla de Israel y Argentina se compara al Estado judío con el tamaño de la provincia de Tucumán. Genera intriga saber cómo una nación tan pequeña puede ser referente y potencia en materia económica a nivel mundial. Entusiasma saber que Argentina teniendo todo el potencial que tiene puede replicar mucho de lo que se hizo en Israel. Esto sería para convertirse también en una potencia como lo supo ser décadas atrás», explicó.

Sobre la elección de Javier Milei como orador, contó que «lo convocamos porque es un experto en temas económicos y apelamos a su vocación de docente. Esperamos que el encuentro que se lleve a cabo no sea una mera charla informativa. Queremos llevarnos herramientas y conceptos para ver qué podemos aprender de aquella situación».

La charla se desarrollará el próximo lunes a las 19.30 (hora de Argentina) con cupos presenciales limitados y transmisión por Youtube y Facebook.

«El cupo presencial serpa respetando todos los protocolos que requiere la situación sanitaria. Los invitamos a quienes quieran inscribirse a enviar un mail a [email protected] indicando su nombre, apellido y DNI», aclararon desde la organización.

El evento será transmitido en vivo en Facebook y en el canal de Youtube tanto de Basilea como de la Organización Sionista Argentina.

El presidente de la OSA, Sergio Pikholtz, es también el titular del Centro de Diplomacia Pública Basilea. «La creación de Basilea responde a dos grandes pasiones. Por un lado la diplomacia pública como medio de transmisión de todo lo positivo que representa Israel como faro de democracia y desarrollo. Por otro, trabaja en la formación de un nuevo liderazgo comunitario», informó.

Pikholtz dijo que «mucho se habla de la necesidad de un recambio generacional a nivel dirigencia. Sin embargo, se ven pocas acciones en ese sentido. Es por ello que con la experiencia de varios seminarios de formación en Hasbará supimos atraer el interés de jóvenes de entre 22 y 30 años. Todo están muy predispuestos a involucrarse en las instituciones y también con ganas de liderarlas».

«La mitad de nuestro grupo de conducción tiene menos de 27 años y es capaz de organizar actividades como la que hoy nos convoca», resaltó.

Buzny remarcó que «desde Basilea los jóvenes no somos una figura simbólica sino que estamos para ser tenidos en cuenta y para ocupar un rol activo. El vicepresidente, la secretaría general y el protesorero son apenas una muestra del cargo que ocupamos los jóvenes. Todos aquellos que se preguntan ‘¿Qué puedo hacer por la comunidad? ¿Qué herramientas hay para combatir el antisemitismo? ¿Dónde puedo formarme en todos estos temas?’ Sepan que Basilea es ese lugar. Jóvenes y adultos nos encontramos en un proyecto ambicioso, plural, sionista y activo para transformar la realidad comunitaria».

«Basilea se constituyó en el medio de la pandemia que atravesamos. En este tiempo estuvimos trabajando de forma proactiva en distintos escenarios. Hemos capacitado a Madrijim. Trabajamos en colegios e brindamos disertaciones con distintos referentes abordando la lucha contra el antisemitismo y el antisionismo», informó.

«Pronto estaremos dando conferencias en universidades. Nuestra misión se resume en transmitir a la sociedad en su conjunto programas de diplomacia pública. También recursos educativos y plataformas de comunicación, para deslegitimar el avance del antisemitismo, antiisraelismo, antisionismo y toda forma de discriminación», concluyó.
