El domingo por la noche en un ataque antisemita, un grupo de individuos ingresaron al Cementerio Israelita en av. Blas Parera al 5500 y destruyeron unas 15 tumbas. El hallazgo se produjo por la mañana del lunes, y el presidente de la DAIA Santa Fe, aseguró que fue solo con el «objetivo de hacer daño porque no hubo robo, están las placas de bronce que son el botín en cualquier cementerio. No hay ninguna leyenda, solo por el daño en sí».

Por esta situación, aseguran que se trata de un hecho antisemita. Por ese motivo, desde la DAIA filial Santa Fe, difundieron un comunicado en el que expresan su máxima preocupación ante la “inusitada violencia sufrida en las tumbas” de su comunidad.

Si bien esto no es la primera vez que sucede, si les llama la atención que se replicaron hechos con muy poco tiempo de diferencia. Hace una semana entraron y vandalizaron y profanaron unas cinco tumbas, «y ahora se repite con más de 15 tumbas. Y en el medio un hecho extraño que se está investigando que es haber encontrado el templo de 1° de Mayo con las puertas abiertas y rotas».

En el escrito, la entidad expresó “su máxima preocupación frente a la inusitada violencia sufrida en las tumbas de nuestra comunidad».

También, la DAIA mostró su “consternación y alarma frente a este nuevo ataque, que reitera y agrava el anterior, recordando que el antisemitismo es el odio más antiguo y persistente, que históricamente ha comenzado con hechos menores, escalando en violencia que perjudican a todos y cada uno de los miembros de las sociedades en las que ha surgido”.

“Volvemos a solicitar a las autoridades la adopción de todas las medidas necesarias y conducentes a evitar estos u otros hechos lamentables” agregó el comunicado.

Respecto a los hechos en el cementerio, la entidad sentenció: «Acompañamos a las familias y seres queridos de aquellas tumbas que fueon profanadas, así como la comunidad en su conjunto”.
