Según Channel 13, el padre del teniente T se mudó a Israel hace 20 años desde la nación de África occidental y su madre emigró de Francia. Ella creció en un hogar religioso en Jerusalén y fue la única mujer en el curso 179 de pilotos.
«Pensé que el curso de pilotos era imposible», dijo en un video publicado por los militares. «Pero me di cuenta de que con mucho trabajo duro y con mucho disco interno, puedes llegar lejos».
