Los volantes que llaman a un «Día de la Ira» para el viernes circularon en las redes sociales palestinas el jueves.

Esto se produce cuando circulan informes sobre el comienzo de las conversaciones entre Israel y Gaza, con Egipto a la cabeza de las negociaciones.

El viernes pasado se ordenó un alto el fuego entre Hamas e Israel después de 11 días de combates. La llamada a las protestas ha corrido como la pólvora con este término evocador que incita a los manifestantes a expresar su furia ante «una supuesta injusta realidad». Las palabras mágicas se formulan en árabe «Youm al ghadab» y automáticamente retrotraen a los tiempos más violentos de las dos Intifadas palestinas que se desarrollaron entre 1987 y 1993, la primera, y entre 2000 y 2005, la segunda.
Las revoluciones árabes se desencadenaron a principios de 2011 y llevaron a la calle a miles de jóvenes en Túnez, Egipto, Libia, Siria, Yemen o Bahrein. Fue para protestar contra la tiranía de sus dictadores. Los viernes, al ser el día de la semana dedicado por los musulmanes a la oración es propicio pues para las concentraciones de grandes masas de personas.
