Se colocó la piedra fundamental para la construcción de una ciudad ortodoxa en México

El domingo 20 de junio se llevó a cabo la colocación de la primera piedra de la ciudad de la Torá en Ixtapan de la Sal, Estado de México.

En palabras de Moisés Shemaria, líder del proyecto, «la ciudad de la Torá, como lo dice su nombre, será una ciudad en forma con todos los servicios que la misma requiere, pero con la peculiaridad de que será hecha para vivir como judío de acuerdo a la Torá».

Además, dijo: «Este proyecto contará con midrashim, ieshivot, colelim, tebilot y todo lo que requiere un judío para vivir su judaísmo intensamente. También habrá jardines preciosos, será un lugar muy seguro para que nuestros niños puedan jugar de manera tranquila en las calles. Habrá un deportivo con albercas para hombres y otras para mujeres, spa y gimnasio».

«La ciudad de la Torá se construirá con Shalom, comunicación continua, con las comunidades y el Comité Central», concluyó Shemaria.

Chertorivski, diputado electo

Una gran personalidad de la comunidad judía de México, Salomón Chertorivski, quien fuera secretario de Salud, fue electo diputado federal por el partido Movimiento Ciudadano.
