Alrededor de 500 líderes religiosos de todo el mundo participaron en Viena de un foro interreligioso donde los líderes argentinos presentaron la experiencia de convivencia interreligiosa de nuestro país.
El Instituto del Dialogo Interreligioso, representado por sus tres fundadores, rabino Daniel Goldman, padre Guillermo Marcó y Omar Abboud, junto a, Omar Massud de la comunidad islámica, Claudio Epelman y Claudio Presman, ambos del Congreso Judío Latinoamericano viajaron invitados a exponer del mayor Foro Religioso organizado por el Centro Internacional Rey Abdullah para el Diálogo Interreligioso e Intercultural- KAICIID, por sus iniciales en inglés. En el evento conversaron con el Cardenal Touran sobre la experiencia de diálogo interreligioso en la Argentina, que siempre contó con el impulso del Arzobispo de Buenos Aires, hoy Papa Francisco.
Todos los argentinos fueron convocados por Faisal bin Muammar, Secretario General del Centro Rey Abdullah cuando el mes pasado llego a Buenos Aires para conocer sobre la cultura del diálogo en la Argentina. “Al interiorizase sobre los resultados que hemos alcanzado, inmediatamente fuimos convocados para exponer en Viena”, comento Omar Abboud.
Por su padre Marco destacó que “mostramos algo que para nosotros es natural, y que no es una realidad en otros países”.
El Rabino Goldman dijo estar “impresionado de ver tanta gente de diversas culturas, con variedad de atuendos y colores, pero con un mismo objetivo: alcanzar el entendimiento”.
