Jordania: aviones no tripulados atacan en la frontera con Israel

Medios de comunicación jordanas reportaron que Amman comenzó a activar aviones no tripulados junto a la frontera sirio-israelí, en el marco de su lucha contra la infiltración de los partidarios del Estado Islámico en Jordania.

Según un informe del portal de noticias jordano Rai al Youm, en los últimos días, se percibe una fuerte presencia de patrullajes jordanos a lo largo de la frontera, bajo el telón de fondo del agravamiento de los combates.

De acuerdo con los reportes, aviones no tripulados actuaron sobre las gobernaciones sirias de Daraa y el Golán, es decir en la triple frontera entre Israel, Siriay Jordania, para eliminar la actividad de los partidarios del Estado Islámico (Daesh). El empleo de drones fue decidido a raíz de la intensificación de los combates entre el rebelde Ejército Libre de Siria, apoyado abiertamente por Jordania, y dos organizaciones partidarias del Estado Islámico, que se unieron en los últimos días –la Brigada de los Mártires del Yarmuk y el Movimiento Islámico Muthanna – ambos situados en el sur de la Meseta del Golán.

La acción de Jordania intenta evitar que los partidarios del Estado Islámico se desplacen hacia el sur, en dirección a Jordania, en el Valle del Yarmouk, y en dirección a la provincia siria de Quneitra, junto a la frontera con Israel.
