Cientos de personas asistieron al funeral del Sargento Omer Tabib (21 años), soldado israelí asesinado por un misil desde Gaza.
Tabib, quien murió el lunes cuando un cohete guiado antitanque fue disparado contra un jeep militar israelí en la frontera de Gaza, fue enterrado en el cementerio militar en su ciudad natal de Elyakim, en el norte del país.
En el funeral, su madre, Tali, dijo que la familia debería haber estado celebrando su baja del ejército, programada para unas semanas a partir de ahora, en lugar de lamentar su muerte. “Me niego a creer que en lugar de felicitarte por terminar el ejército busco palabras para resumir tu vida.
