El famoso canal CNN finalizó su vínculo con un periodista que dijo que el mundo necesita a Hitler, en el marco del conflicto en Medio Oriente.

Se trata de Adeel Raja, un colaborador independiente de uno de los medios multinacionales más grandes del mundo, quien publicó un lamentable tweet (que luego borró).

«El mundo de hoy necesita un Hitler», dijo el periodista que trabajaba con la CNN en su red social. A partir de esa publicación, también se hicieron virales otros tweets defendiendo al dictador nazi.

Por su parte, el periodista paquistaní se sumó a la oleada de odio contra Israel en aquel país desde que estalló el conflicto con Hamás. Recientemente, la actriz paquistaní Veena Malik twitteó una cita de Hitler para justificar el genocidio de judíos.

«Habría matado a todos los judíos del mundo…pero me quedé con algunos para mostrarle al mundo por qué los maté», citó Malik en su red una supuesta frase del líder nazi.

El comentario de Raja se produjo como resultado de la violencia en curso entre Hamás y el ejército israelí, que respondió a los ataques terroristas que recibió.

De todas formas, en 2014 Raja respaldó abiertamente la candidatura de Alemania en el Mundial defútbol: «¡Hitler era alemán y lo hizo bien con esos judíos!». Además, publicó otros mensajes como que los alemanes deben despertar su «Hitler interior».

A su vez, también en 2014 dijo: «ISIS, TTP, TALIBAN. ¡Por favor vayan a Israel lo antes posible!»

Donald Trump Jr. se metió en el tema y dijo: «Oye @cnn, este parece ser uno de los tuyos, pero imagino que ya no sorprende a nadie».

No solo Raja y CNN fueron criticados, también Twitter, que parece tener un pequeño problema con sus «términos y condiciones» para que Raja pueda mantener su cuenta verificada.

«Desplantaron a un presidente estadounidense en ejercicio por pedirle a sus partidarios que protestaran pacíficamente, pero un colaborador de CNN que glorificó repetidamente a Hitler durante varios años logra mantener su cuenta verificada», afirmaron en los comentarios.
