Las autoridades de Alemania informaron este martes que el número de extremistas de ultraderecha en el país aumentó el año pasado cuando los neonazis intentaron unirse a las protestas contra las restricciones relacionadas con la pandemia.

El ministro del Interior alemán, Horst Seehofer, dijo que las autoridades contabilizaron 33 mil 300 extremistas de extrema derecha en 2020, un aumento de casi el 4% con respecto al año anterior de acuerdo a información de Enlace Judío.

“Los extremistas de extrema derecha pudieron protestar en repetidas ocasiones codo con codo” con opositores no extremistas de las restricciones pandémicas, dijo Seehofer.
