Bajo el lema “Conectamos raíces por la memoria”, el jueves 15 de julio tuvo lugar el tradicional Acto de Juventud que, cada año, convoca a cientos de jóvenes comprometidos con el pedido de justicia, y con la necesidad de mantener vivo el recuerdo de las 85 víctimas fatales del atentado terrorista a la AMIA.
Organizada por la Juventud, la conmemoración, que fue transmitida desde el canal de YouTube de AMIAonline, contó con la conducción de Malena Guinzburg y la participación de jóvenes de todo el país.

Al inicio del acto, compartieron sus testimonios tres personas que, como muchas otras, se habían presentado espontáneamente a ayudar aquel 18 de julio de 1994. Uno de ellos fue Javier Basevich, creativo que participó en diferentes acciones artísticas de recordación que realizó la institución, quien recordó dónde estaba aquella fatídica mañana y la colaboración que brindó en la zona del desastre.

También se pudo escuchar a Jessica Rozenbaum, quien formó parte de un grupo de jóvenes que se organizaron para rescatar los libros de la Biblioteca del IWO que quedaron enterrados sobre la calle Uriburu. Por último, Juan Carlos Lombardi relató que gracias a su perro “Lupo”, encontraron a Alejandro Mirochnik, quien trabajaba en AMIA cuando explotó la bomba y quedó atrapado en uno de los ascensores durante nueve horas.

Luego, fue el turno de Jennifer Dubin, hija de Norberto Dubin, víctima fatal del atentado. También de Gustavo Rapaporte, quien en 1994 tenía 15 años y compartió cómo vivió aquellos días posteriores al ataque terrorista.
En la conmemoración, también se escuchó el discurso que preparó la Juventud Judía Argentina. “Conmemoramos a esas personas con las que estamos conectadas desde ese 18 de julio de 1994.
