Las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) informaron que sus tropas llevaron a cabo operaciones exitosas en las áreas de Jan Yunis y Maghazi, en la Franja de Gaza, donde eliminaron a terroristas de Hamás que dirigieron la masacre del 7 de octubre.
En Maghazi, las FDI reportan que la 36ª División abatió a aproximadamente 20 terroristas, incluido un comandante de la fuerza de élite Nukhba del grupo terrorista.
Por su parte, en Jan Yunis, la 98ª División llevó a cabo un ataque aéreo contra un edificio utilizado por el grupo, causando la muerte de siete agentes.
Según el informe de las FDI, entre los fallecidos en el ataque en Jan Yunis se encontraba otro comandante de Nukhba, que participó en la embestida del 7 de octubre.
Además, en esta misma zona, tropas de la Brigada de Comandos respondieron a la amenaza al abrir fuego y eliminar a tres hombres armados de Hamás que se aproximaban a las fuerzas.
También, en Bureij, cerca de Maghazi, soldados de la unidad 414 de Recogida de Inteligencia de Combate del Cuerpo de Defensa Fronteriza detectaron a un hombre armado de Hamás disparando contra ellos desde un edificio, y las FDI informan que utilizaron un dron para neutralizar al agresor.
