El primer ministro de Israel, Benjamín Netanyahu, hizo un llamado expreso a Gideon Sa’ar y Naftali Bennett, líderes de los partidos Tikvá Jadashá y Yamina. Es para que reconsideren sus posturas y se le unan en los esfuerzos para establecer un nuevo gobierno en el país informó Enlace Judío.
Netanyahu ofreció un mensaje público a medios por primera vez desde la noche de las elecciones del pasado 23 de marzo, que dejaron un estancamiento político en Israel y un complejo panorama para el establecimiento del nuevo gobierno.
“Regresen a casa, conformemos un gobierno de derecha estable que dure años. Unámonos. No es ningún secreto que ha habido desacuerdos entre nosotros por años, pero supimos superarlos y trabajar juntos”, fueron las palabras que dirigió a Sa’ar y Bennett, recogió Ynet.
El mandatario aseguró que la “claridad” del electorado asentó una mayoría de 65 escaños para la derecha en la Knéset. No obstante, dentro de este amplio respaldo a los partidos de derecha referido por Netanyahu se cuenta a Tikvá Jadashá, cuyo líder se opone a que él continúe como primer ministro, y a Yamina, cuya postura sigue siendo indecisa.
“Esto hace posible formar un gobierno de derecha estable que servirá durante años. Llevará a Israel a mayores logros en beneficio de todos los israelíes”, dijo.
Entre los retos que esperan a Israel, Netanyahu señaló el programa nuclear de Irán. También el fortalecimiento de la actividad de asentamientos en Judea y Samaria (Cisjordania), más acuerdos de paz con naciones árabes. A su vez, habló de la vacunación contra COVID-19 de los menores de 16 años.
Advirtió que de no establecerse un gobierno de derecha, llegará al poder un gobierno de izquierda “inestable” que “caerá muy rápido”.
