Globos lanzados desde Gaza generan incendios en el sur de Israel

 Al menos 6 incendios de matorrales ocurrieron este jueves en el sur de Israel por globos con artefactos incendiarios lanzados desde la Franja de Gaza, dijo el Servicio de Bomberos y Rescate.

Dos de los incendios se produjeron en el bosque Be’eri y otros cuatro en el bosque Kissufim, dos reservas naturales ubicadas en la frontera de Israel y Gaza, dijo un portavoz del Keren Kayemet LeIsrael, de acuerdo con Enlace Judio.

Uno de los incendios causó daños leves a un campo de trigo, dijo un portavoz del consejo regional de Eshkol, confirmando que no había peligro para los pueblos cercanos.

El Servicio de Bomberos y Rescate dijo que los incendios eran pequeños y se controlaron rápidamente.

En Gaza, la llamada unidad de globos, Ibna al Zuwari, dijo que había lanzado dispositivos incendiarios transportados por globos hacia Israel.

“Esto es solo el comienzo”, dijo el grupo en un comunicado este mismo día.

El lunes, dos globos con presuntos artefactos explosivos que aparentemente fueron lanzados desde la Franja de Gaza aterrizaron en el sur de Israel, dijeron las autoridades locales, algo que no se había visto en meses.

Los supuestos dispositivos explosivos se encontraron en campos agrícolas en la comunidad de Kfar Aza, al este de la ciudad de Gaza.

La práctica de lanzar dispositivos incendiarios y explosivos transportados por globos desde la Franja de Gaza hacia Israel ha aumentado y disminuido en los últimos dos años.

Ha habido relativamente pocos lanzamientos en meses recientes. Esto es porque, según los reportes, el gobierno israelí y el grupo terrorista Hamás que gobierna Gaza negociaron un cese de hostilidades.

A finales de abril, terroristas en Gaza lanzaron decenas de cohetes al sur de Israel. La mayoría de los cohetes cayeron en campos abiertos, donde no causaron heridos ni daños de consideración.
